Member Communications

A The member portal is where you use your own unique login credentials to access all of our member functionality – including reserving meeting rooms, paying your bill, receiving news about member perks, chatting via Slack with other Pennovation Center members, reserving lab space (lab tenants only), upgrading your membership level, viewing our member events calendar, and more. The Pennovation Center member portal is for to use as often as you need.

The Pennovation Center website is available to the public and does not display the full digest of public/private events happening at the Pennovation Center.

A Once you have created a HootBoard login account, you will need to Join our board where you will be prompted with a pop up that will verify your account. Once verified, you may now post and receive updates of any new public or private posts on our board using our collection tags. Now go forth, and hoot away to your fellow members!
A Don’t forget to join our slack channel! As a Pennovation Center member, you will receive an invitation to join our private Pennovation Center Slack channel. We will send this invitation to the email address we have on file for you. Follow the instructions to “Join the Team” and then you will have access to share updates and questions on our Slack channel.

Room Reservations

A If you do not have a LiquidSpace account, please create one here and navigate to Join. Once you’ve created your account, navigate to the Pennovation Center venue. You will now see all of the Space options available at the Pennovation Center. Select the Space you would like to reserve. Reference the Real-Time Availability calendar to ensure the Space is available during your desired date/time. Click in the calendar to “Book It Now” and fill in all required fields to “Complete the Booking.” After selecting “Complete Booking,” you will receive an email confirming your reservation. If you need to make changes or cancel, you may do so while logged in to your LiquidSpace account.

A This will depend on the room you desire, capacity needed, and the length of time you’re looking to reserve. Our LiquidSpace reservation tool is an easy way for you to see real-time availability of all of our rooms at the Pennovation Center. There are 2 meeting rooms on level 1 and 5 meeting rooms on level 2.

Pennovation Center Events & Programs

A We’re always happy to answer questions regarding programming opportunities, but please begin by filling out our “Host An Event” form. While logged in to the member portal, select the Member Engagement tab. You will then see on the right column, the option to fill out our “Host An Event” form. Our team will contact you once your form has been submitted.

Pennovation Perks

A Yes! If you are a Pennovation Center member, please help yourself to any of our gourmet coffee & snacks found in the kitchen.
A Yes again! If you are a Pennovation Center member, please help yourself to any common office supplies.
A Lockers are available on a first come, first serve basis for “The Resident” and “The Coworker” memberships. We ask that you do not store your items longer than 1 overnight so that all members may have an opportunity to use lockers as needed. We ask that “The Resident” members use lockers on the 2nd floor and “The Coworker” members use lockers on the 1st floor.
A Whenever you need the space. As always, be mindful of your noise level as your fellow members that are inventing their future in our community as well.
